About The HST: July 15th-18th

The High Sierra Trail is about 70mi and runs east/west over the Sierra mountains. This trail conveniently fits in for me after doing the Sierra High Route as it gets me a bit closer to where my car was parked and this is a great opportunity to do a logistically difficult point to point hike. It will be a great wind down from the SHR and I think it will be nice to be on a trail for a few days and just take in the scenery. There will be plenty of elevation loss and gain along the way as well, so it won’t be easy by any means.

BASE PACK WEIGHT: 15lbs. 8.6oz.
